Audition Notice

Riot Stage Youth Theatre is holding auditions for their Youth Company. We are looking for 2 young people, aged 14 to 18 years old, to join our ongoing performance company. Participation is FREE to those who are accepted, and will entail attending weekly theatre training workshops. Future Riot Stage performances (in 2019 and beyond) will be cast from this ensemble. Riot Stage devises physical non-naturalistic performances alongside the young people involved and as such we are looking for young performers who are creative, brave and work well within an ensemble. Riot Stage strongly encourages a diverse range of people to apply from a variety of cultural backgrounds, performance experiences, gender identities, and sexual orientations.

The audition will be a workshop run by the company’s directors Katrina Cornwell and Morgan Rose on SUNDAY JUNE 24th from 3:30PM to 6:30PM at OXYGEN YOUTH CENTRE (4/8 Gaffney Street, Coburg). Please make sure that you arrive at least 15 minutes early for registration.
